About Us
Dream Dive is a storybook website designed for kids aged 3-10. The stories consist of genres ranging from princesses to friendships. The stories are written and read by grade nine students, Sofia Buckwold, Gaureen Sidhu, Coralie Anderson, and Isabella Lecce.
Their journey began in their entrepreneurship class when Sofia decided to create an app. Originally, the other three students were planning on selling products in their school’s store, but decided against it.
The first step of the process was writing the stories. Those were completed around February 2025. They next organized a meeting with Laura McMillan and Kirk Johnson from Red River College about next steps. McMillan and Johnson had informed them of a website they could use to create Dream Dive called Webador.
While Sofia worked on the website, Gaureen, Coralie, and Isabella began recording the stories and converting them to MP3 files. The process of using Webador was lengthy, but it worked out in the end.
Now, as they come towards the end of the process, they hope to give kids another way to spark creativity and to keep them entertained.
